We are very excited to welcome Hannah Newton to the First Art team, who has joined as our new General Manager.

Hannah, herself a fine artist, joins us from Creative Quarter Nottingham and brings with her some great experience in keeping teams in check.

As General Manager, Hannah is responsible for managing the First Art operations and logistics, making sure day-to-day things runs as smoothly as possible. Project management, governance, and administrative systems are all in a days work.

She also plays a crucial role in helping shape an exciting future for First Art. With the rest of the team, Hannah is helping to implementing the First Art Business Plan through a range of ambitious and engaging arts and cultural projects.

Hannah said:

I’m really excited to be joining First Art. This role is the perfect blend for me, bringing together both of my professional passions: arts & culture, and spreadsheets & processes.

I’m looking forward to meeting the amazing communities we work with, getting stuck into some of the incredible events, like The Full Shebang Festival, and developing new creative projects.

A full time roll, Hannah joins Karl Greenwood, Director of First Art and Kate Learmouth, Marketing and Audience Development Manager.
