Getting to Light Night

All the performances, artworks and activities for Light Night are taking place in and around Sutton-in-Ashfield Town Centre.

If you’re not able to get into Sutton-in-Ashfield Town Centre on foot, here’s some handy info for planning your visit.

By Car

If you’re travelling to Light Night by car, there is parking in and around the town centre although please be aware this is limited.

Below you’ll find a list of car parks close to the centre. Please be aware that Sutton Market North Car Park will be closed both nights as this is where the main stage is.

Idlewells Shopping Centre Car Park, NG17 1EG

Idlewells has kindly offered to provide free car parking to those attending Light Night from 5pm on both nights (please note spaces are limited).

Sutton Community Academy, NG17 1EE

Sutton Community Academy has kindly offered free parking for the event at three of its car parks.

All car parks accessed off High Pavement.

By Bus

Sutton-in-Ashfield Bus Station is situated right next to Idlewells Shopping Centre and is served by many local and regional bus routes. Find out more here.
