Join us for a workshop exploring how to make your very own Crankie’ Theatre.

A ‘Crankie’ is a special storytelling device that uses a paper scroll that has been decorated with drawings to tell a terrific tale. Simply turn the spool and watch as your story comes to life right before your eyes.

Throughout this workshop you’ll learn about this history of crankie theatre, decorate a crankie box, and create your own story scroll to take home and share with your friends and family.

Taking place along side the Crankie Theatre Making Workshop will be the Little Creatives making fantastic mini cardboard rockets. Click here to find out more.

All kids need to bring their adults, and must be accompanied at all times.

Part of The Mini Shebang, a programme of FREE hands-on family fun in the lead up to The Full Shebang Festival taking place on Sat 7 September.
