Audio Description
Audio Desciption at The Full Shebang
Some shows have Audio Description (AD). This narrates for visually impaired audience members what’s happening in the show, describing visual elements including body language, expressions and movements. Live audio description is listened to through a headset.
Where to collect AD headsets
Headsets to listen to the audio description can be picked up from:
- The Access Hub on West Gate, open 11am – 5pm
- From the Audio Describer at the performance
As well as ear pieces, we have a limited number of overhead headphones and a neck loop for those using hearing aids (limited availabilty).
The Audio Describer will advise which channel to tune into.
Headsets can be returned at the end of your visit to either the Audio Describer or the Access Hub.
Audio Description Performance Schedule
At least one performance of each of the main shows will be audio described along with some of the walksabout acts.
