Go the Distance was a festival designed to evolve throughout the Covid-19 situation, taking place in chapters across 2020/21 – think of it as a bit like a pick n’ mix.
It was our way to bring communities together to experience and be part of some great cultural things, both on and offline, and much of it remotely.
The festival was a chance to have some creative fun, try some new cultural things, and to hopefully for people to feel a bit more connected with their community.
The third and final chapter of Go the Distance was filled with a series of fantastic light-related projects.
Chapter Two took place as the first lockdown measures were eased and social distancing was most definitely name of the game.
Chapter One was made up of two aspects, creativity delivered to your door and the chance to experience fun and exciting art from home during the first lockdown
