Seedling

Puppet from Seedling by Half a String for Go the Distance Festival

Seedling

from Half a String

An online celebration of puppetry, folk and earthy D&B.

A three-part mini series, Seedling follows the adventures of a young seedling tree puppet, lured to leave the forest by a strangely empty world.

The journey played out over an episode-a-day during Seedling’s Weekend  11 -13 June 2020.

Half a String‘s new show features beautiful puppets handcrafted and performed by Peter Morton (he’s a pretty nifty puppet designer) while modern folk singer-songwriter Avi Simmons and drum & bass artist Suitman Jungle provide live music to accompany the puppet adventuring through uncharted terrain.
