Why Nicole was nominated

Young artist Nicole used her talent to help others through the pandemic. During the first lockdown of 2020 she created a ‘key workers’ art piece depicting all key workers and the local area. The artwork raised £2,150 and  Nicole donated all the proceeds to the local NHS.

To me, a community is a valuable asset to society. My community unites and supports at the most uncertain times. With thanks to my community, I was able to make a positive difference.
