Why Simon was nominated

Simon set up ‘Volunteer Riders UK’ who now have over 3000 bike riders delivering PPE free of charge. Over 4 million pieces have gone out to hospitals, care homes and other places in need as a result.

I think people and their families, friends and communities are the most important things we should consider in life… Communities are a network of people who can be strong, caring and quite wonderful. Small ideas can become huge and, yes, life changing.
