Clay Cross Young Producers
A new youth cultural development programme dedicated to inspiring young people to be actively involved in making their community a better place to live
Young people look at the world with fresh eyes and such lively determination, and create much-needed change by throwing convention out the window.
– Richard Branson
And that’s the ambition of the Clay Cross Young Producers, to make a difference to the community through the eyes and actions of young people.
This new youth cultural development programme will inspire young people to be actively involved in making their community a better place to live by putting on events and activities.
We’ll work with, train and mentor a network of young people in Clay Cross to establish a group who’ll make decisions about activities and set up a range of events for the town. This will bring the community together in new ways, animating public places with positive cultural activities for young people to take part in.
This programme has been co-funded through a Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Community Action Grant.
If you’re interested in getting involved or would like to find out more please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
